Softball Team Captain

Anna is a founder member of Mersey Rose CC and the captain of the softball team. Anna played her first game of cricket in a charity match in 2019, but only began playing regularly in 2022. She developed a reputation as a lower-order batter who does not give up her wicket easily!

Anna was Rainhill Recreationals' vice-captain and Player of the Year in 2023. In 2022 she became the first ever female player to captain a Rainhill CC senior team in open cricket.

Anna took nine wickets in 2024 at an average of 30.43. In 2025, Anna was awarded the Halton & St Helens Voluntary and Community Action's Sports Volunteer of the Year Award.
