Blue Peter Badges for Rose juniors

Xanthe and Heidi Page awarded badges for cricket-related effort

Two Mersey Rose juniors have been awarded Blue Peter badges for cricket-related activity.

Xanthe Page, who won the Wicket of the Season award last year, was awarded the Sport badge in recognition of getting active and trying out a new sport.

Heidi Page, 2024's Egg Cup winner, received the Music badge. This was for her work with Gwiazdka at Mersey Rose's Christmas fundraiser at Balmer Street Methodist Church. Heidi sang with the band in English, German and Polish, and performed duets of Es Ist Ein Ros Entsprungen, O Tannenbaum, Lulajże Jezuniu and Nie było miejsca dla Ciebie.

The club is extremely proud of Xanthe and Heidi and offers them both congratulations on their well-deserved badges.
